Avanti is the Principal Viola of the Society and is the current occupant of the Albert A. Page Memorial Chair. She is a founder member of the Society, performing regularly with us since 2007. She was born in Colombo and attended Visakha Vidyalaya in Colombo, and completed her Masters degrees at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. Her diverse interests include music, animal welfare, law, cooking and writing.
